Empty Container Collection Scheme
Scotts' (formally ICI/Zeneca/Miracle) lead the way in offering a free empty collection service for users of its professional products.
Under the scheme buyers of Scotts' branded products will benefit from a free disposal service for the empty containers.
There are some restrictions to the service but if you qualify Envirogreen will provide Hazardous Bags to store the waste and a listing form to detail exactly what products require disposal.
Once the form is completed and returned, Envirogreen will arrange the necessary statutory paperwork to be completed and contact you to schedule a convenient collection time, this will normally be between 7 and 21 days later.
That's it! Once the collection has been completed you will be left with the producers copy of the Section 60 consignment note which shows you have treated the waste correctly and which must be kept for two years.
